| Dear Janet: My son James is an only child, but
very sociable and rambunctious. I knew
that a half day at Kindergarten would not be enough to stimulate
him
intellectually or physically, so I carefully searched for a
facility to
provide enrichment and afternoon activities. A dear friend
recommended
Stepping Stone and I could not have been happier with the results.
Not
only were the basic principles of math, reading and science taught
in an
gentle manner, but active, outside play was also encouraged. As
any parent
of a boy knows-they love to be outside! The kids also learned how
to cook
basic treats, played games and generally had fun. James felt very
comfortable in his surroundings, and made several good friends
among his
classmates. Every day, I had the peace of mind of knowing he was
being
nurtured by the skilled and caring staff. Their inherent kindness
shone
through.
James is entering first grade this fall, and I can state with
confidence
that Stepping Stone helped him mature and grow during the past
year. Mrs.
Hunter, Mrs. Roehner and Mrs. Shanaman--I can't thank you enough!
